Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Arizona and licensed in Texas as well. I have not only been practicing as a therapist, but I also specialize in life transitions such as separation and divorce. I have helped many individuals who are experiencing losses find the path to achieving a happy and joyful next life chapter. Life transitions can create so much trauma, stress, and anxiety and having someone to help you navigate through these difficult times is essential. Having a therapist as your partner through a challenging time in your life can help you manage the emotions you may be experiencing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with both men and women as well as adolescents for many years, I've created resources and tools to help you move forward with the challenges you may be facing. By exploring the issues you would like to address, you will be able to move towards the future in a healthy, productive way.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past ten years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Oftentimes, clients are interested in receiving counseling services without the long term commitment that therapy may require. Based on your needs, we will work together to find a treatment plan that is focused on your unique goals and time commitment.

Family Therapy

Because I have been working with adolescents and adults in my practice, I specialize in helping families with their specific needs as they relate to their family. It may be that we work as a team to help restructure relationships that need to be repaired within the family system.
