Hey there, I’m Beth Paronich. Do you find yourself taking care of everyone else, but have a hard time being kind to yourself? Are you high-functioning at work and wish you could apply those same skills to your relationship issues or struggles with recent life changes? Do you wish you could find that same level of motivation and confidence you experience professionally when it comes to making changes in your personal life? Together, you and I will figure out what you’re willing to change to find peace and balance. We’ll collaborate to build solutions for issues occurring in the here and now and discover the strengths you have to move forward. It takes courage to seek out your desired future and to take the first concrete steps toward realizing your goals. If you are ready, I am here to help you discover your strengths and resources for that journey!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first meeting will be a 15-minute, no-cost consultation. This is a chance for us to get to know one another, ask each other some questions and see if we’d be a good fit. If we decide to work together, we’ll have an intake session where we’ll focus on your background and the concerns that brought you to therapy. In follow-up sessions, we’ll develop three broad goals to work towards and begin to visualize specifically how your life will be different when things are better. Establishing goals early in our work together will allow us to measure progress, stay on track, and realize when our journey together has ended.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I practice a hybrid model of therapy that calls upon many different therapeutic approaches, and I tailor this to each person. Most commonly, I practice a combination of solution-focused and interpersonal therapy. These are evidence-based approaches that are hope-friendly, future-focused and action-oriented.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I love practicing my unique blended model of therapy because these approaches focus on formulating, motivating, achieving and sustaining actual behavioral change. Differing from many other therapeutic perspectives, in this model the therapist does not remain neutral. Rather, I’ll share opinions and options for change, so that together we can determine the best steps for you to take to reach your goals.
