Does the stress of managing your day-to-day life make you feel like you are in a tangled web? I can help. I have over 6 years of experience helping clients manage daily stressors and difficult situations. I specialize in working with teens and adults to manage both mental health and addiction problems. I have a strong belief in your ability to manage problems on your own, as you know yourself best. My role as your therapist would be to work with you in identifying those strengths in a non-judgmental space. If you need to work on anxiety, depression, parent-child relationship, addiction, anger management, ADHD, or trauma, I'm here to help.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our initial session, I will review get to know more about your history and the main reason for seeking therapy. I would also like to know what coping skills have worked for you so far and what have not. Then we will take it from there!
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I use a variety of treatment methods depending on the client’s unique needs. One of the popular methods I use is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) where I will help you identify the connection between the thoughts, feelings, and actions that keep you feeling stuck. I also use solution-focused therapy to identify your personal strengths and use them to target your desired goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Generally, I enjoy working with clients from all populations from teens to adults. I, however, really enjoy working with teens and young adults. I believe this is because I have a lengthy experience working in the higher education environment. I am currently an adjunct instructor teaching students who aspire to become counselors. I enjoy working with the immigrant population as well.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with clients who need support with improving their lifestyle and general wellbeing, and are willing to work collaboratively with me to meet their identified goals.
