New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep passion for helping others feel seen, valued, and genuinely cared about. Creating meaningful, human connection is at the heart of my work. I believe healing happens through authentic relationships, compassionate listening, and working together at a pace that feels right for each individual. I am a lifelong learner and earned my Master’s in Social Work in 2017 after being inspired by two remarkable medical social workers. My foundation in medical social work and end of life care laid the foundation for my understanding of family dynamics, life transitions, and the challenges most adults face at different stages of life. Through this journey, I discovered that my greatest strength and passion lie in personal connection and one-on-one collaboration. I also bring a breadth of life experience to my work. My social work career followed a 20-year career in the administrative field which allows me to relate to clients navigating professional identity, burnout, caregiving roles, and life transitions with understanding and realism.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, we’ll review confidentiality and the legal and ethical agreements that guide our work together. We’ll then spend time talking about what brings you to therapy, your hopes and goals, and what has or hasn’t been helpful for you in the past. I believe that finding the right therapist is an important part of caring for yourself, and that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of the greatest strengths I bring into therapy is my ability to be fully present. I show up as my authentic self, with empathy and care, and I take time to truly listen. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and understood. I work collaboratively and at your pace, honoring both the difficult and meaningful parts of your story. When it feels helpful, I also bring gentle humor and warmth into our work, helping the process feel human and manageable rather than overwhelming.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adults and families who are navigating the inevitable challenges of life and seeking greater self-awareness, emotional support, and meaningful growth. I support clients coping with anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions, helping them build practical and compassionate pathways forward. I believe healing happens through authentic relationships, compassionate listening, and working together at a pace that feels right for each individual.
Compassion Focused
My approach is compassion-focused and grounded in the belief that healing begins with feeling safe, understood, and accepted. I work collaboratively with clients at their own pace, offering a supportive space where self-kindness, resilience, and meaningful change can grow.
Motivational Interviewing
I provide support and guidance to my clients as they explore their values, strengths, and readiness for change in a respectful, nonjudgmental way. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in discovering their own motivation and direction.
