Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I received my Masters from the Louisiana State University and have been practicing for 7 years. I help adolescents, adults, and seniors struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, Bi-polar, personality disorders, suicidal ideations, self-harm, grief/loss, life transitions, and anger management to become the best versions of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with diverse populations varying in age, gender, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status for the past 7 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and commitment therapy is mindfulness based and teaches you to accept things as they are to help reduce anxiety.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is especially effective for people who have difficulty managing and regulating their emotions. DBT has proven to be effective for treating and managing a wide range of mental health conditions, including: Borderline personality disorder (BPD). Self-harm. Suicidal behavior. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Substance use disorder. Eating disorders, specifically binge eating disorder and bulimia. Depression. Anxiety. It’s important to note that the reason DBT has proved effective for treating these conditions is that each of these conditions is thought to be associated with issues that result from unhealthy or problematic efforts to control intense, negative emotions. Rather than depending on efforts that cause problems for the person, DBT helps people learn healthier ways to cope.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

CPT teaches you how to evaluate and change the upsetting thoughts you have had since your trauma. By changing your thoughts, you can change how you feel.

Grief Therapy

I utilize this treatment method to help clients experiencing grief in many forms such as the loss of a relationship, job, significant other, family members, and friends. There are 5 different stages of grief that we will discuss and process your feelings.
