I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of Texas at Austin and have been practicing for over 10 years. I guide people impacted by cancer, chronic illness, grief, and other forms of trauma on their journey to emotional well-being, helping you to replace troubling images with positive ones, so your brain can reprocess past or ongoing events, freeing you from the constant distraction of painful thoughts and images.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in the first session as well as follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with people impacted by cancer for the past 6 years, as well as having recovered from my own chronic illness, I have a unique ability to empathize with the feelings of fear, loss, and uncertainty that those facing serious or ongoing illness deal with.

My treatment methods

Integrative

I am an expert in dealing with all forms of painful negative life experiences. Within five or six sessions I can have you relaxed and able to think about those things as past events rather than having them dictate your emotions day in and day out. I use a treatment model called Accelerated Resolution Therapy that allows you to use your thoughts and your feelings to change how your brain thinks about things that have happened to you.
