(she/they)
I’m a 1.5-generation immigrant and a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) therapist. I support individuals as they navigate the complexities of living between cultures, cope with experiences of discrimination, and explore generational trauma. My work focuses on helping clients establish healthy boundaries, develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves, and release internalized messages that distort their sense of identity and worth.
In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, where you’re feeling stuck, conduct a brief personal history, and begin identifying your treatment goals.
My greatest strength is being a compassionate, nonjudgmental listener. I take the time to truly empathize with your experiences and allow you to take the lead in your recovery and healing journey.
I love working with individuals who feel stuck in their relationships with loved ones—whether due to burnout, resentment, or over functioning—and helping them gain the tools they need to cultivate more balanced and fulfilling connections with others and with themselves.
I believe that most ailments stem from traumatic experiences encountered by individuals, their families, and their communities. In response to these events, people often develop coping mechanisms that are adaptive during key developmental stages and critical moments in life. However, when these strategies become limiting, individuals may feel stuck. Healing begins with cultivating compassion for one’s own story and learning new, adaptive tools to effectively meet their needs.
