Hi! I am a Licensed Clincial Social Worker with 27 years of working with diverse clients who experienced depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and other life challenges. I offer my client's a non judgmental, safe space filled with compassion and understanding for their difficulties. I treat each client as an individual and create a unique treatment plan based on the client's current state, abilities and goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will take time to find a rhythm as I gather some information to help me understand my client's current need for therapy. I gain a general understanding of their issues and help explore some goals that they would like to achieve in the therapy process. The first session is slower paced and I will make sure to focus on the client being comfortable and feeling safe while sharing personal information within our new working relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a strong ability to help a client feel comfortable, understood and less alone with their problems. I adapt to where the client feels they need to be in the moment while assessing the best plan forward for the individual client's specific needs.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The way we think truly affects our behaviors and overall outlook. By exploring our thought patterns and the origins of these thoughts, we help to begin the process of changing those negative thoughts into healthier ones.

Couples Counseling

As individuals, you often bring emotional baggage and negative thought patterns into a new relationship, as you base your beliefs on your past history. By examining the why to your thoughts we can help you as a couple develop healthier behaviors, communications and marital outlook. Each couple is unique as well as each individuals. It is important to recognize the journey that got you to the place you are in life right now in order to change behaviors that may be negatively impacting the relationship into actions that have positive effects on the relationship.
