Aisha Cunningham
Hello my name is Aisha Cunningham, I am a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a specialization in trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress. I create a special and nurturing environment for clients. With 10 years of experience in the field, I have developed a deep understanding of the complex nature of these mental health challenges and I am committed to helping individuals overcome their struggles and find healing.
I also work with women of color that may need a space to process their day-to-day life, work stress, personal life without feeling stressed, judged and overwhelmed.
As a trauma informed care therapist, I recognize the profound impact that traumatic experiences can have on an individual's overall well-being. Through holistic therapeutic techniques or evidence-based practices, I provide a non-judgmental, special and nurturing space for clients to explore their trauma, process their emotions, and develop effective coping strategies. I also work with women of color that may need a space to process their day-to-day life, work stress, personal life without feeling stressed, judged and overwhelmed. With a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, I empower clients to regain control over their lives and move towards a path of resilience and recovery.
First session
In our first session together We will do introduction and then identify the specific challenges that you are having. Well, then create a plan for your therapy sessions that will help you process and work on the challenges that you’re facing.
Strengths
My biggest strength is that I am a great listener and although I will not do the work for you, I will support, encourage and guide you on your journey. I have experience working with adolescent clients to working with geriatric clients. I am supportive, I have compassion and I love the work I do, to help others be the best versions of themselves.
Ideal clients
The clients that are best position for me to serve are the ones that are willing to go through the therapeutic process no matter how difficult it may be. Clients that are willing to give their all to the process And their journey.
