Currently, I am only providing individual therapy. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California, I extend a warm welcome to you. By contemplating therapy, you've already taken the first step toward personal growth and transformation. Over my years of practice, I've had the privilege of working with individuals spanning a wide range of ethnicities, backgrounds, and ages – from 4 years old to over 90 – addressing a multitude of concerns.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial session, we'll begin by exploring the therapy process together, ensuring you feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. We'll then delve into the unique challenges you're encountering, allowing us to craft a personalized plan tailored to your needs and goals. Think of it as creating a bespoke recipe for your journey towards healing and growth – one that reflects your individuality and preferences, guiding us towards meaningful progress in our follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My commitment extends beyond simply addressing symptoms or conditions; rather, I am deeply passionate about guiding individuals toward a profound understanding of themselves and fostering the development of healthy, fulfilling relationships both within and outside of themselves.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am a CBT-certified therapist and I have been helping my client to rebuild their pre-existing cognition of seeing themselves and seeing others through identifying their core beliefs and reframing them.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Based on my extensive training regarding cultural competency and my self-exploration as an immigrant, woman, and minority in society, I have been considering the best way to respect my clients' backgrounds and appreciate our differences. This consideration has helped me to deeply link with my clients and maintain a safe and healthy therapeutic environment.

Narrative

Narrative therapy helps me to empower my clients to get back their ownership in their lives and embrace their being. Moreover, it guides the clients to separate from their negative narrative and retell a new positive narrative themselves.

Trauma-Focused CBT

My CBT training specialized in trauma, anxiety, and depression. Throughout my work with clients, I've noticed that many who come to me seeking help for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more, have also experienced some form of trauma in their lives. I have a deep passion for supporting individuals who have experienced trauma to heal from their wounds.

Strength-Based

I believe every human being is unique, each with their strengths. My work experiences have guided me to assist my clients in identifying and enhancing their strengths that may not have been recognized or discovered yet.
