As a compassionate and experienced BC-Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I empower individuals in Texas and Oregon to achieve optimal mental wellness through personalized, evidence-based medication management and psychotherapy services. My approach addresses a wide range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to trauma and beyond, fostering resilience, self-awareness, and authentic living. Through our work together, I help individuals develop coping strategies, improve relationships, and cultivate a deeper understanding of their mental health and wellness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our initial session, we'll start with a warm introduction, followed by an in-depth discussion of the challenges you're facing. This will allow me to craft a personalized treatment plan, tailored to your unique needs and goals, which will guide our work together in future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my greatest strengths include providing empathetic, personalized care and adopting a holistic, collaborative approach to address the unique needs of each patient. I stay current with evidence-based practices, remain culturally sensitive, and foster supportive relationships to deliver effective, patient-centered care.

My treatment methods

Integrative

In my practice, I integrate holistic nursing by taking a comprehensive approach that acknowledges the intricate connection between physical, emotional, and spiritual health, and providing personalized care that nurtures the whole person.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients identify and transform negative thought patterns, developing adaptive coping skills to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate Mindfulness-Based Therapy into my practice, teaching clients mindfulness techniques to cultivate present-moment awareness, reduce stress and anxiety, and increase self-acceptance and emotional regulation.
