Additionally, I’m a board certified Pediatric Mental Health Provider CRNP-PMH, with an active DEA license and Maryland CDS prescriber license. Certification via The Reach Institute for CBT in Pediatric Primary Care: Treating Anxious Children and Adolescents July 2022. Completed The Trauma Research Foundation's Certificate Program in Traumatic Stress Studies March 2023. For the majority of my career I’ve been within Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Maryland Medical systems. I'm also a veteran. I bring a sense of humor and the personal experience of raising three children. Additionally, every so often my little dog enjoys visiting therapy sessions when he’s not sunning himself. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is geared toward gathering mental health history, past medical and surgical history and past and present medications. We will develop mutually agree upon goals of therapy, medications and or referrals.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Evidence based practice and treatment plans. Medication management including medication psychoeducation for client and families. Cognitive Behavioral tools, work sheets, educational packets shared directly with the client via email.
