I’m a licensed therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals navigating substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I understand that many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, even when they’ve tried to manage on their own. In my work, I prioritize creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely seen and understood. I use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches while tailoring therapy to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. My aim is not just to help you cope, but to support you in building insight, resilience, and a more grounded, fulfilling sense of stability in your life.
In our first session, you can expect a calm, supportive conversation focused on understanding what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to change. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant history, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. There’s no pressure to share everything at once; my goal is to meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful. By the end of the session, we’ll begin to identify priorities and potential goals for our work together, and you’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction and what therapy with me can look like.
I believe real progress happens when people feel safe enough to be honest. My greatest strength is creating a space where clients feel seen and accepted, even in the parts of their lives that feel messy, confusing, or hard to talk about. From there, we build insight, stability, and sustainable change together.
I support individuals at all stages of their journey, especially those facing intense stress, life disruption, or feeling disconnected from their sense of purpose. My focus is helping clients find clarity, stability, and a realistic path forward.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to anxiety, depression, or other challenges. Together, we explore how these patterns affect emotions and daily functioning, and I guide clients in developing practical strategies to challenge negative thoughts, build healthier habits, and respond to stress more effectively. CBT provides a structured, results-focused framework, and I tailor it to each client’s needs so it feels relevant, realistic, and immediately applicable to their life.
Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed approach to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen and understood. Together, we build coping strategies, resilience, and stability while respecting your pace and experiences.
Eclectic
I use an eclectic approach, tailoring therapy to each client’s needs and goals. Together, we explore strategies that work for you, helping build clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their goals, uncover motivation, and make meaningful changes at their own pace. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on building confidence and momentum toward the life you want.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness-based techniques to help clients increase awareness, manage stress, and stay grounded in the present. This approach supports clarity, emotional balance, and a greater sense of calm in daily life.

Kaelyn is a wonderful person. She is kind and validating yet direct and empowering. She has challenged my frame of thinking and understood it from my perspective as well. Kaelyn doesn't just listen she engages in amazingly deep dialogue and helps you pull feelings and thoughts you have buried. I am so glad to be working with her and will continue to do so.
