Psychology has always been my passion and I truly love working in the field to provide a warm environment for my clients to grow. I am a licensed mental health clinician (LMHC) with 8+ years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults. I have found that I most enjoy providing therapeutic services to adolescents and adults and am knowledgeable in a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, conduct disorders, substance abuse and difficulty adjusting to life changes. Over the past few years, I have found that I have gained a great deal of personal and professional experience with woman suffering from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). This is a very underserved population and I hope to help change that one client at a time. Other underserved populations I have extensive experience with are adult children of alcoholics and those suffering from religious trauma syndrome.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

It's understandable that the first session can seem scary for clients. This is a new person in your life, who you are sharing all the things you have been working to hide/ disguise. My aim is to make you feel as comfortable as possible while gathering all the information needed. Our first session will be about getting to know one another and completing an assessment based on your reported information. This is also the point at which we would explore what your needs/ goals for therapy are.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I am dedicated to working towards helping client’s feel happy and fulfilled. I use various treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Client Centered approach, depending on the needs of the client. I am also a firm believer in exploring your past to better help you understand current behaviors and traits.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength as a therapist is my ability to listen and understand a client's needs. I also believe my life experiences, both personal and professional, have made it possible for me to empathize with my client's.
