My name is Becky Hounshell (legal name Mary) from Eastern Kentucky. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) and have been practicing for over 20 years. I have worked with a variety of populations including addiction, children, individuals with anxiety/depression, and individuals with trauma. I am very passionate about my practice and make therapy something everyone loves and feels safe in.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect a safe space where they are free to tell their story and develop a problem statement and treatment plan. During this session, clients can expect to start building a heathy therapeutic relationship with me that will assist with future sessions by building a safe and trusting environment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, I have experience with a variety of populations. I don't give up on clients and I will continue to work on motivation even when things look grim. I like to make counseling enjoyable and a time that clients look forward to.
