Hi, I'm an LMFT who has been practicing in Los Angeles for the past 19 years. Born in Cairo, Egypt, and raised with a blue-collar immigrant ethos, I attended K-12 in LAUSD public schools, earned a Bachelor's in Psychology from UCLA, a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine, and a Doctorate in Education from USC. I specialize in helping adults with anxiety live healthy, well-balanced lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My intention for our first session is to understand why you are coming to therapy and what you believe you need. This will not only help me conceptualize a path forward but also assist both of us in determining if we are a good fit. Like in most of my sessions, we will converse naturally, and although we may have specific questions for each other, I ensure this space is open and free for you to learn and discover.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

A client once told me that I take the 'therapy' out of 'therapy', and I think I like that. I create an atmosphere that normalizes this clinical experience, turning it into a human-to-human connection.
