What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges. I am honored to walk alongside my patients and their families on their journey towards mental wellness, providing support, guidance, and evidence-based interventions every step of the way.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I firmly believe in the importance of evidence-based practice, which involves integrating the latest research findings into my clinical decision-making. In my assessments, I utilize the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5). This widely recognized diagnostic tool provides a comprehensive framework for evaluating and diagnosing psychiatric conditions. By utilizing the DSM-5, I can accurately assess and diagnose a range of mental health disorders, ensuring that my patients receive appropriate and tailored treatment. Additionally, I incorporate diagnostic questionnaires and genetic testing if indicated.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths lies in my holistic and comprehensive approach to treatment. I firmly believe that mental health care should encompass all aspects of an individual's well-being, including their physical, emotional, and social dimensions. By considering the whole person, I can provide individualized care that is tailored to each patient's unique needs. I understand that no two individuals are alike, and as such, their treatment plans should reflect their specific circumstances and goals. I aim to empower my patients to actively participate in their own care and facilitate lasting positive changes in their lives. My ultimate goal is to empower individuals to achieve mental wellness and improve their overall quality of life.
