About me

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with 15 years of experience in the field. I earned my master’s degree from Boston University and specialize in working with adolescents and adults. I offer a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore their challenges, build on their strengths, and move toward meaningful personal growth. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or just feeling stuck, I’m here to help you gain clarity, develop new tools, and work toward the goals that matter most to you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive space where we’ll begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and what you hope to get out of therapy. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and share anything that feels important. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and respected. From the beginning, I want you to feel empowered in the process, knowing that you’re the expert on your own life and that we’ll work together to build the tools and support you need to move forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to build a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. I believe that genuine connection is the foundation of effective therapy, and I work hard to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and truly understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental—I meet clients where they are and take the time to listen deeply. I believe that healing and growth happen through relationships, and I prioritize building a connection where you feel comfortable being yourself, exploring your experiences, and working toward your goals at your own pace.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support adolescents and adults who are looking for a safe, compassionate space to navigate life’s challenges through building practical coping skills. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I work collaboratively with you to identify what you need from the therapeutic process. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support and guide-not to judge or direct—so you can gain insight.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

As a therapist, I embrace a person-centered approach that places you—the client—at the heart of the therapeutic journey. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and valued. In this safe space, you are free to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of criticism or shame. My role is to walk alongside you with empathy and authenticity, fostering a trusting relationship that empowers you to grow, heal, and discover your own path forward.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Additionally, I utilize CBT techniques focusing on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In a safe, nonjudgmental space, we work together to identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical tools to create positive change. With empathy and support, I help you build insight while challenging limiting beliefs.
