What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we would do a meet and greet and dive into presenting concerns, collect psychiatric, medical, and social histories, discuss treatment options, collaboratively set goals, and from there a treatment plan will be developed/explained.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

By gaining experience in community health settings, I have developed a versatile skill set that is suitable for the complex and multifaceted nature of mental health practice. By understanding and addressing the interconnectedness of mental health in communities with many social factors, I am able to contribute to more effective and compassionate care.

My treatment methods

Mind-body approach

A mind-body approach in psychiatry involves recognizing and addressing the interconnectedness of mental and physical health. Your mental well-being is closely linked to physical health, and both are considered in the evaluation and treatment of psychiatric conditions. The mind and body influence and impact each other.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation involves providing individuals and families with information about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and the overall management of mental health. The goal is to empower individuals to better understand their condition, participate in treatment, and enhance their overall well-being.
