Greetings, welcome to Olive Therapy~a symbol of Peace. I am so glad you've taken the first steps to finding support and help to access healing and reach your goals. My approach is driven by client needs and desired outcomes, as well as addressing whole body health and wellness. I obtained my graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2016 and continued on to pursue clinical licensure to practice therapy. I enjoy working with clients who are seeking help to find solutions to the challenges life brings. Clients who have issues with symptoms of Depression, Anxiety or who just need some direction are urged to schedule and see if we can find the peace you deserve.
In our first session, we will spend time uncovering what led you to schedule an appointment. As a clinician, I will share what a typical session may include once we discover your needs. We will discuss what you want out of our time together and what areas you would like to explore first.
Some evidence based practices I use include Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Integrative Health, Mindfulness-Based and Strength-Based Therapy.
I truly believe that meeting the client where they are is the best approach. My experience includes working with adolescents, early and middle-aged adults (13-45). I've had an opportunity to work in an inpatient setting, facilitating group therapy and working with clients and families in crisis in the ER, conducting behavioral assessments and determining the appropriate level of care. Success can be reached when you, the client have the clarity you need to identify your goals. My purpose is to help you gain clarity and reach your goals. We will tackle obstacles that you feel stand in the way of your peace and happiness. During each session, we'll carefully address what you feel is important and navigate the path to your wellness.
I primarily work with adolescents to early and middle adults as individuals or in a group setting.
