With a specialized focus on this unique population, I offer personalized therapy tailored to individual needs and experiences. In my practice, I prioritize providing a nurturing environment where clients feel understood, valued, and empowered to explore their challenges and strengths. Whether addressing self-esteem concerns, trauma recovery, or life transitions, I offer compassionate guidance to facilitate growth and resilience. Recognizing the diverse struggles and triumphs that accompany each individual, my approach is centered on fostering a sense of self-discovery and empowerment. Together, we embark on a journey of healing and transformation, with the goal of cultivating confidence, self-acceptance, and inner strength. I am deeply committed to supporting women and teen girls as they navigate the complexities of life, offering tools and insights to help them thrive. It is an honor to be a part of their journey towards greater well-being and fulfillment, and I am dedicated to providing the compassionate care and support they deserve.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In their first session with me, clients can expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere where they feel safe to share their thoughts and emotions. We start by introducing ourselves and discussing the client's reasons for seeking therapy and their goals. I conduct an initial assessment to gather relevant information about their background and current concerns, reassuring them about the confidentiality of our sessions. We address any immediate distress and collaboratively set goals, creating a treatment plan together. The session concludes with a summary of what was discussed, and clients are encouraged to provide feedback to ensure their needs are being met, establishing a foundation of trust and understanding for our therapeutic journey ahead.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I have completed extensive training in EMDR, including both the foundational training and advanced courses. This training has provided me with the necessary skills to effectively use EMDR with clients experiencing trauma and other distressing life events.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have completed formal training in TF-CBT, which includes comprehensive workshops and courses focusing on the specific needs of traumatized children and their families. My certification process involved supervised clinical practice, where I worked with experienced TF-CBT practitioners to refine my skills and ensure fidelity to the model.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have completed several introductory workshops on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These workshops provided me with a solid foundation in the basic principles and techniques of CBT, including understanding the cognitive model, identifying and challenging negative thought patterns, and using behavioral activation.
