Hi there, I'm Natasha, Welcome to my intro and getting to know a little more about my knowledge and experience...does life seem to be a constant battle to balance everyday life tasks and responsibilities? Are you finding it difficult to manage and maintain your health, relationships, school or work? Do you feel lost or distracted by thoughts of uncertainty, fear or worry? As your therapist, I empower and encourage you to persevere through tough feelings related to anxiety and or depression. Together we will work towards identifying what is meaningful and prioritize goals you want to work towards. I am here for you and together we will identify which evidence-based theoretical approach best fits your needs and expectations. Your past situations and experiences can impact your well-being, mood, behaviors, and how you view yourself, others and the world. It takes courage to seek therapy and you've made a great decision towards improving your mental health. I am here to support you along your journey of healing and understanding your true self. I'll provide you with a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental environment where you can express your thoughts and feelings and identify unhealthy patterns that keep holding you back from personal growth. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will begin with introductions, go over the limits of confidentiality and then we will identify what brings you to therapy, assess your current symptoms and presenting problem. Once identified, we will then discuss the best treatment modality to support you along your journey of healing and understanding.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Each client's needs are individualized and based on their current needs. Through collaboration and the therapeutic process, we can determine the appropriate theoretical modality. What works for one person may be different from another and I need to discuss these decisions with clients, as they are the experts of themselves. I utilize evidence-based approaches in my practice. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindful Based CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and interventions such as mindfulness, relaxation techniques, breathing techniques, building self-esteem, and problem-solving skills.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My passion when working with clients has always been to instill hope. Life is tough, fast-paced, and forever changing. My role as your therapist is to help you navigate through this journey we call life and provide a safe and calming environment. I'm a great listener, I have a great personality, funny, and caring and I enjoy talking with everyone from different walks of life. When working with me, you can expect professionalism, understanding, open-mindedness, cultural competence and creativity when it comes to brainstorming strategies with my clients.
