Hello there brave one! I am passionate about helping you live your best life, and I believe that having a healthy support system (whether that be through marriage, family, or friendships) is key to our success. Founder of Emotion Focused Therapy, Dr. Sue Johnson, puts it well saying, "Being the best you can be is really only possible when you are deeply connected to another." I utilize relationship-driven therapies and focus on helping you get in touch with your emotions, core desires, personal and interpersonal needs. I specialize in seeing individual adults and couples for pre-marital or post-marital therapy. My hope is that you can learn in life not just how to survive, but to thrive! I most often use emotionally focused therapy (EFT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), and mindfulness techniques to help you find that fulfillment, connection, and sense of purpose we are all born desiring.
I have seen firsthand the transformative impact therapy can have on a home, and I have a passion for people to discover the riches life has to offer. For our first session together, I focus on getting a true sense of who you are, what relationships have impacted you the most, and what you hope for for the future. My desire is to walk out with you YOUR goals whether that be learning how to trust again, loving yourself better, and/or connecting with others more deeply.
