You deserve a safe, supportive environment where you can be transparent and honest in achieving your personal goals and thriving in life rather than just surviving!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will focus on us getting to know one another. We can take a look at your history, the challenges bringing you to therapy, and brain storm treatment goals that we will focus on achieving throughout the therapeutic process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Throughout my career, I have certainly learned that one-size does not fit all. I am very individualistic in my approach to therapy because I understand that I am working with individuals whose issues and needs are unique to them. I take pride in the relationships I build with my clients and the work I get to see them do.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

As human beings, we are all interconnected. Many of our issues are linked to the quality of attachments we have developed in both our past and present relationships. In my practice, I assist clients in the assessment and identification of potential attachment issues. I utilize this treatment method to guide and support clients in working through those issues. Much of this intervention is focused on the development and implementation of practical interpersonal skills that assist in creating and fostering healthy, supportive attachments.

Eclectic

I don't believe that one intervention works best for everyone which attributes to my eclectic approach. I am mindful of my clients and do my best to execute interventions that meet their individual needs in that specific moment.

Strength-Based

SBT focuses on a client’s strengths, abilities, and assists in expanding on these areas. By focusing on strengths and resourcefulness, this intervention aims to help the client maintain a positive mindset, identify additional strengths, identify how the client can apply their strengths in day-to-day life, and identify practical solutions to life's issues.

Existential

Existentialism is a type of therapy that I utilize to assist clients cope with challenges related to being human. Through Existentialism, we explore areas of suffering, meaning, and purpose derived from one’s life experiences. We learn to look at the bigger picture, take responsibility for our life choices, and be intentional on what we chose to suffer for.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

This type of therapy assists the client in building self-awareness. The client leads the session to achieve their individualized goals with the support and unrelenting positive regard of the clinician.
