My treatment methods

Attachment-based

As human beings, we are all interconnected. Many of our issues are linked to the quality of attachments we have developed in both our past and present relationships. In my practice, I assist clients in the assessment and identification of potential attachment issues. I utilize this treatment method to guide and support clients in working through those issues. Much of this intervention is focused on the development and implementation of practical interpersonal skills that assist in creating and fostering healthy, supportive attachments.

Eclectic

I don't believe that one intervention works best for everyone which attributes to my eclectic approach. I am mindful of my clients and do my best to execute interventions that meet their individual needs in that specific moment.

Strength-Based

SBT focuses on a client’s strengths, abilities, and assists in expanding on these areas. By focusing on strengths and resourcefulness, this intervention aims to help the client maintain a positive mindset, identify additional strengths, identify how the client can apply their strengths in day-to-day life, and identify practical solutions to life's issues.

Existential

Existentialism is a type of therapy that I utilize to assist clients cope with challenges related to being human. Through Existentialism, we explore areas of suffering, meaning, and purpose derived from one’s life experiences. We learn to look at the bigger picture, take responsibility for our life choices, and be intentional on what we chose to suffer for.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

This type of therapy assists the client in building self-awareness. The client leads the session to achieve their individualized goals with the support and unrelenting positive regard of the clinician.

I’ve always been a bit nervous about therapy, but I feel like I’m with an old friend with her! She’s given me wonderful guidance and I feel like I’ve grown so much since beginning with her. I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful fit!

I have been seeing Rebecca for over a year now, and I cannot tell you how much I already brag about my amazing therapist. She's my go-to gal for advice, guidance, understanding, or just a good ol' fashioned pep talk. I love that our sessions are authentic and sometimes silly, but not at all stuffy which has been an issue for me in the past. The amount of growth I have made in the last year has truly changed my life in the best way possible, and I 100% recommend her for those looking!

Rebecca is incredibly personable and supportive. She is truly the best therapist I have ever had. She challenges me to be the best version of myself, and uplifts me when I feel like I’m not. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs someone empowering to uplift them and someone to help you out of your comfort zone.
