Hello. I’m Philicia. Have you been feeling sad, disconnected, anxious and overwhelmed? I help people to better manage depression, anxiety and mood disorders keeping the whole person in mind. Let’s individualize your treatment based on your symptoms, your medical history, and your preferences to create a personalized plan. We’ll use a client-centered approach that combines non-medication techniques in concert with medication to manage your symptoms and keep you moving forward. (Please Note: I do not prescribe controlled medications in the State of Virginia) I believe your physical and mental wellness are inseparable. Our first session will be a thorough review of your medical and psychiatric history and an exploration of your goals for treatment.

With a background in both primary care and psychiatry, I integrate both into the treatment plan for more comprehensive and personalized care.
