I view myself as an ongoing student. My commitment to you is to continuously learn and share new concepts, guiding you in unraveling the complexities of your inner and outer worlds. I value professional integrity and I promise to never ask you to do anything without explaining its value and rationale. My ideal client is someone that is suffering from low self-esteem, emotional neglect from family, domestic violence, grief, childhood trauma, codependency, betrayal, personality dysfunction, family conflict, and or trauma-related symptoms and is wanting to feel safe in their bodies, relationships, and environments. My clients want to have better emotional intelligence and self-awareness with handling emotionally immature love ones. I specialize in trauma informed care and I have taken Phase 1 training of Brainspotting Therapy. I am excited to work with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will meet you where you're at. We will discuss whatever you're bringing to the table and begin identifying what it is you expect and want to achieve as a result of our therapeutic relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I aim to make everyone who comes into my office feel welcomed and supported. Building a strong alliance can help my clients be able to go deeper into their pain and betrayals. If you don’t feel emotionally safe with your therapist, your not going to want to continue working with them and you will end up beating around the bush in order to please them like you would do with an emotionally unsafe parent. It’s your therapy after all and it’s not fair to you when you want to address problems and your therapists invalidates you. Finding someone who can meet you where you are and who you can trust with your emotions is what I strive towards in my relationship with clients.

My treatment methods

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms. Brainspotting is a simultaneous form of diagnosis and treatment, enhanced with Biolateral sound, which is deep, direct, and powerful yet focused and containing.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma-informed therapy considers the complex impact of trauma on an individual's well-being and how it shapes a person's ability to cope. Unlike traditional therapy, trauma-informed treatment integrates an awareness of trauma into every aspect of treatment while making safety a priority for clients.

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy is a short, process-oriented counseling method that helps people develop or rebuild trust and express emotions. It aims to create a supportive relationship that can help prevent or treat mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. The therapy focuses on the connection between an infant's early attachment experiences with primary caregivers and their ability to develop healthy relationships as an adult.
