Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. I have been a clinician for the last 7 years while also being licensed as a K-12 School Counselor for the last 10 years. I serve clients starting at age 5 and up. I am a passionate counselor whose mission is to help people know they can manage their conditions and live fulfilling lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session there will be brief introductions and an exploratory conversations that led you to seek counseling. This will help me identify the best treatment plan for you. We will also establish frequency of sessions and any additional information that may arise.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider is helping you hone in on what improvements you want to make in your life, challenging the mindset that has troubled you, and helping you create a plan to be successful in your journey to healing.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned for clients who want to engage in counseling. I have a direct but emphathetic approach and would be best suited for clients who are serious about making positive changes in their lives. Since I serve a broad range of clients, it is important that for children, parents are aware that counseling can be a long process and it is critical rapport is built to meet their needs. For adolescents and adults, it is important that you have a mindset of doing the work to improve your circumstances.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is the typical form of therapy that most counselors utilize. It helps with making clients aware of their thinking and challenges you to change your thinking.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I utilize mindfulness to help clients ease their anxiety and remain in the present moment.
