Hey there! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in California, and have been working and mental health for over 15 years. I received my Masters of Social work from California State University, Sacramento. I believe in employing strength-based philosophies that help clients identify and focus on their internal strengths, to empower them in overcoming challenges, build resiliency and heal. I am a trained EMDR therapist, and a trauma specialist. I have a passion for helping individuals move through painful events and move to a place of healing and resiliency. In addition to trauma, I also specialize in mood disorders and addiction.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will assess the needs that have brought you to therapy, and create a blueprint for change moving forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

For 15 years, I have taught skills to encourage an individual’s capacity of self-healing, resiliency, capacity for change, and internal growth.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am interested in working with adults who are motivated for change and interested in building their best selves!

My treatment methods

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) can be a powerful tool in your private practice to help clients process traumatic memories and reduce the symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and other mental health issues.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used and evidence-based approach to help clients understand and change their thought patterns and behaviors.

Strength-Based

I utilize strength-based practices by identifying and leveraging clients' inherent strengths and resources to empower them in overcoming challenges and achieving their therapy goals.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I teach clients to employ mindfulness techniques to help them stay present, manage stress, and develop greater self-awareness and emotional regulation.
