Hello! I’m Barbara Lee, a clinical social worker (LCSW) licensed in the state of Texas. I'm originally from PA and lived in NYC for over 10 years before moving to Louisiana to pursue my Master's Degree in Social Work at Tulane University. I moved with my family to Texas shortly after receiving my MSW/MPH. I've been therapist for over 15 years and have worked with clients with a variety of concerns including, depression, anxiety, life transition issues, interpersonal/relationship difficulty, caregiver fatigue, career challenges as well as individuals recovering from a history of abuse.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Hopefully after our first conversation, you have another way to see your situation. I work to make you feel supported and confident in your ability to heal and/or grow in the ways that are needed. The goals I set depend on your strengths and the trust we establish. I look forward to working with you!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I think I am particularly good at helping my clients "connect the dots" between past experiences and current beliefs, behaviors or narratives they create that may or may not be serving them.
