Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I received my Masters from the Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis and been a licensed therapist for 10 years. I have worked primarily with people struggling with depression and anxiety and those coping with life transitions and grief. I also have experience with those struggling with complicated medical issues and aging.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and then focus on whatever concerns have brought you to the appointment. Together we will work on developing a plan to get you started on a path to accomplishing your goals!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I use a compassionate, supportive approach to help people feel more comfortable in working through complicated, emotional situations.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I tend to use this approach most often, as it one of the most well-studied forms of treatment and is shown to be effective for a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, and substance use. This therapy focuses on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how one can make changes to improve their life by focusing on these three things.

Mind-body approach

I am currently working on certification through the Center for Mind Body Medicine. I tend to use mindfulness techniques with therapy to increase one's ability for emotional regulation.

Grief Therapy

As one who struggled from complicated grief from an early age, I have a passion for working with those who need assistance with their grief journey.
