I earned her Masters Degree in Social Work graduating with honors from Barry University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida and a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) specializing in Gambling Addiction. I have always had an innate desire to help people. I am a compassionate, interactive therapist specializing in gambling and substance abuse as I have personal experience on both sides of addiction; from the addict's perspective and from the perspective of the loved ones of the addict. I am a solution-oriented social work professional dedicated to providing exceptional advocacy and care to those in need. I bring awareness to people who are struggling with the challenges emanating from "life on life's terms" and help people navigate these challenges utilizing integrative evidenced-based therapeutic approaches in both individual and group therapy. I incorporate a trauma-informed approach and help my clients address the root of their addiction and empower them to overcome their addiction and take back control of their lives. My clients enjoy a safe, judgement-free space where they are empowered to speak freely and confidentially. My goal is to help affect positive change(s) in the lives of my clients by utilizing the resources and knowledge I’ve gained through education and personal experience.
