Hey there! I'm so glad you're considering therapy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping people, I've had the privilege of working with kids, teens, and adults in individual, group, and family settings throughout Connecticut. I've learned that everyone's journey is unique, and that's why I'm committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, or just feeling stuck in your life, I'm here to listen and support you. I know that starting therapy can be intimidating, but I want to assure you that it's okay to take the first step. I'm here to walk alongside you, offering guidance, support, and expertise every step of the way.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
When we meet for the first time, I want to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for us to get started. We'll spend some time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy at this time in your life. I'll ask you some questions to help me understand your history and what you're hoping to work on during our time together. Throughout treatment, you're in the driver's seat, and we'll work together to identify what's most important to you. Whether it's addressing specific challenges, building self-awareness, or simply having a supportive ear to talk to, you're the expert on your own life. My goal is to make you feel heard, understood, and supported, and to give you the tools and resources you need to achieve your goals.
