In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what’s been going on in your life that brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to understand your experiences the issues you’re having. Together, we’ll identify your strengths and begin outlining realistic goals so you leave our first meeting with a sense of direction and hope. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported from the very start.
I enjoy working with clients who are looking for healthy coping skills to manage a stressor in their life, and especially clients who may not be sure what they're looking for and just need a place to explore some of the issues they're dealing with.
My dream client is someone who feels weighed down by relationship challenges, mood shifts, or anxious thoughts, but is ready to take steps toward feeling more balanced and connected. They may be navigating conflict, struggling to manage overwhelming emotions, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. They’re open to exploring their strengths, trying new strategies, and building healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating so they can experience more peace, confidence, and fulfillment in their daily life.
