About me

My areas of specialty include working with those who are experiencing issues related to anxiety, major life changes, relationships, difficulty concentrating, chronic medical diagnoses, isolation, and identity. I also specialize in working with clients who are of Indo-Caribbean (West Indian) heritage and/or first- and second-generation immigrants. As a therapist, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where collaboration and empowerment can be achieved. My mission is to listen, draw upon your strengths, and provide insightful support along the way. During the first session, you can expect an easy-going conversation to build a therapeutic alliance. At the moment, I practice entirely over tele-health, giving us the flexibility to connect conveniently and safely. "PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING: Services are provided to clients who are interested in therapy on a short-term (one to three months) or long-term basis. For any requests for administrative services like disability certification, administrative letters, and special accommodations (such as Emotional Support Animals letters) related to a psychological condition, **please seek the services of another mental health provider**. The reason for this policy is to focus on building a therapeutic alliance and allocating resources for clinical services, not administrative tasks. Certain administrative services may be considered for long-term clients on a case-by-case basis and cannot be guaranteed."
