I'm so glad you have found your way here! I am Diane Lopez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in California. Throughout my career, I have gained experience in intensive mental health services, suicide prevention, and school-based therapy. I am enthusiastic about working with children, teens, and young adults to support them in reaching their maximum potential. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have!
In our first session together we will make sure all our needed paper work is filled out and we will dive into your current needs and challenges with your child. I may also meet with your teen child separately in order to gather more information from them.
I consider myself to be a warm, compassionate, and humorous therapist, and I believe that my strengths are what have allowed me to fully connect with even the most challenging children and adolescent clients. I strive to make therapy an environment where your children want to keep coming to learn, grow, and challenge themselves.
As an LCSW, I have gained various experiences in the field of pediatric mental health. I am under the belief that there is no blueprint to treat your child rather we work together as a team to identify what is the best approach or strategies that will help increase the quality of life of your child. I am passionate in supporting children/adolescents with depression, anxiety, behavior challenges, self-doubt, and learn strategies to assist them increase their quality of life.
