Hi! I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner Licensed in Florida, Virginia, and New Jersey. I received my Masters from Wilkes University and i have been practicing for close to 2 years. I help populations from 13yrs and up struggling with their mental health and going through a tough times because i understand life can be difficult. Also if you are looking for someone to just listen while you talk, i understand you.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
We'll begin our first meeting by giving each other a quick introduction before getting right into the problems you're having. This will assist me in developing a customized plan that we can discuss in our follow-up meetings.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
With my experience working with young, old, and postpartum moms, I have a tried-and-true playbook that I can use to help you (a) figure out what's causing your problems and (b) design a customized plan that gets you results.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I love working with young and the elderly population. Also post partum mothers are not left behind. I love seeing the progress with my clients. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
Understanding people's culture and the sensitivity of it is something that is important to me. Cultural sensitive is the capacity to first identify and comprehend one's own culture and how it affects a client's relationship, then comprehend and react to a culture that is distinct from one's own. Cultural sensitivity enables me to acquire and maintain this capacity. Certain characteristics, like age, beliefs, ethnicity, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status, may make this understanding necessary.
