If you've felt unseen, overstimulated, or weighed down by layers of expectation, you're not alone. As a first generation, Asian American, queer and neurodivergent therapist, I bring a compassionate and nuanced understanding of identity, intersectionality, and the complexities of navigating life's challenges. My passion lies in helping individuals heal from intergenerational trauma, PTSD, challenging family or relational dynamics, anxiety and depression. My approach is rooted in creating a safe, affirming place where you feel seen, heard and supported. Together, we'll explore the emotions and experiences that may leave you feeling stuck, process past and present wounds, and develop effective tools to navigate life's challenges. I know that seeking therapy can feel daunting, especially if it wasn't normalized in your upbringing. As someone who has experienced the transformative power of therapy, I deeply understand the courage it takes to take this step. If you're ready to start this journey, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will complete a formalized intake and create a treatment plan that supports your goals and therapeutic growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are creating a safe, grounded space and using evidence based trauma therapies like EMDR to help clients move through what once felt overwhelming.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who feel weighed down by past trauma, anxiety or the pressure to meet every one else's expectations. Many of them are first-generation, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, or neurodivergent, and often feel like they don't quite fit anywhere.

My treatment methods

EMDR

In my practice, I utilize EMDR to help clients process and heal from trauma and distressing memories. Together, we will create a thorough assessment to identify the traumatic experiences you would like to address. Then, we will begin the eight phases of EMDR to get you on your healing journey.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In my practice, I use DBT with clients who experience intense emotions, interpersonal difficulties, or self-destructive behaviors. We will incorporate DBT's core components of distress tolerance, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness and mindfulness.
