What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is when most information about your mental health history is obtained including your presenting symptoms, past and current medication, family history among others. Proper education will be provided about the treatment modalities in order to promote informed decision. The provider and patient will work together to generate a treatment plan that is tailored to client's mental health needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My core in patient care is establishing a therapeutic relationship and creating a conducive environment where clients feel free to express themselves, their mental health needs and consequently guided to promote remission in their symptom by developing an individualized evidence-based treatment strategies.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This method of treatment has enabled me in assisting clients to identify patterns of thinking that are dysfunctional by focusing on changing those thoughts that occur spontaneously to generate a distorted affect. After assisting a client to identify thought distortions that contribute to mood disorders, the client is guided through evidence as well as logic that evaluates the validity of the dysfunctional thoughts.
