What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will have brief introductions and then focus on what brings you to therapy and what goals you have. During this interaction we will determine if we are a good fit to work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked in a variety of settings with clients facing various challenges. I meet clients where they are and help to empower them to see their strengths.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I utilize Eclectic Therapy because it allows me to be flexible and meet the client where they are and focus on their specific goals. With this method we can switch between multiple approaches during our work together.

Attachment-based

Attached-based is helpful to those who are interested in understanding how experiences during childhood impact the way we connect with others as adults. It can help to strengthen the ability to develop meaningful connections.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps to overcome negative thought patters and automatic beliefs, and replace them with more realistic and less harmful ones. It helps to teach strategies that can be utilized daily.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness helps us to be more present and aware. It helps to relax the body and mind and reduce stress. It focuses on helping the client to be present in the moment and let go of worries and regrets.

Trauma Informed Care

Sessions will be focused on helping the client to discover skills and improve coping strategies to better respond to reminders and emotions associated with the traumatic event. These can include anxiety management and relaxation strategies.
