Hello! I am Susan. Are you feeling stuck in life and defined by past traumas or mistakes? Do you find these issues affecting your ability to establish quality relationships? Does anxiety or depression feel like a constant companion? It is my goal to meet each individual where they are at in life and learn their story so that we can address the core issues and not just treat the surface symptoms. I work from a strengths-based approach as we identify barriers to progress and create a path forward to overcome those barriers. I love to meet each new client and feel humbled to bear witness to their stories and their healing. Seeking therapy can feel so intimidating. It takes great courage to face the memories and issues you may have avoided up until now. When we meet, it will be your goals and values that guide treatment. I will allow you to set the pace so that the process feels tolerable. It is one of the greatest privileges of my life to walk with others through hard places. I utilize a variety of evidence-based treatments depending on your needs and preferences. Let healing start now.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session together will include initial introductions followed by gathering information pertinent to your mental health so that we can collaboratively determine your specific treatment plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a human and therapist is my ability to put others at ease. I see incredible value in each individual and approach each one as more than the sum of their past experiences. Because of this, I have been able to treat many individuals who carry shame and fear due to personal histories of trauma.
