The world can be heavy and overwhelming. The day-to-day demands, the unknown, and the ever-changing dynamics of life can be challenging to navigate. I am here to carry the hope that life can get better and together, we can do that. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy where I focus on changing problematic thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. There is a skill for everything! I am a teacher and a healer. I empower clients to explore their concerns and find creative ways to solve or address those issues. Together we can process factors that have shaped you by exploring trauma or shift into solution-focused strategies and interventions. My job is to meet you where you are and help guide you to the life you want. **I have Sunday appointments only.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I was trained under the DBT-Linehan & completed the year of supervision in 2019. I did not complete the certification process, but this is my main treatment approach. Clients have shared that the mix of psychoeducation, targeting problem areas, and teaching new ways (skills) can quickly alleviate some symptoms while other areas are being worked on.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Awaiting test to be certified. Trauma focus approach to manage behaviors and decrease trauma symptoms in children.

Attachment-based

More and more clients want to explore how their attachment style interferes with satisfaction in relationships. Usually, I will explore current stressors, utilize DBT interpersonal effectiveness skills, reflect on childhood relationships and experiences, and identify ways to navigate the concerns in a more healthy, mindful way.
