My role is to assist you in your path to change by improving your sense of self. This includes developing an awareness of your ideas, feelings, and actions, which serves as the foundation for forming new habits and encouraging healthy self-talk about change. The key to lasting change is building these practices into your routine. Practice them regularly, tweak them as you go, and gradually, they'll become second nature.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will start with a brief introduction. Following that, we'll dedicate around 20-30 minutes to conducting an intake, ensuring we understand your needs. If time permits, we'll delve into the specific issues prompting your therapy journey, laying the groundwork for our future sessions together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a psychologist, my strengths lie in my empathetic approach and ability to create a safe environment for my clients to explore themselves and tap into their unique potential. I employ active listening and motivational interviewing techniques, tailoring evidence-based interventions to meet individual needs and fostering self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth. Furthermore, my commitment to ongoing learning ensures I consistently provide practical support for my client's mental health journeys.

My treatment methods

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

Support clients in cultivating radical acceptance of their present experience while developing skills to achieve their goals. I facilitate this process by guiding them to observe their thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. This heightened self-awareness unlocks powerful insights, enabling clients to break free from limiting patterns and propel their personal growth.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Change can only happen at the belief level. Our deepest beliefs shape how we feel and act. To build a strong and balanced sense of self, we can learn to question and challenge unhealthy or outdated beliefs. This allows us to confirm and solidify the beliefs that truly reflect who we are and who we want to become.

Psychodynamic

Our personalities are shaped by a complex interplay between conscious and subconscious influences. Unconscious motivations drive many behaviors, but there are also subconscious adaptive processes that work in our favor. To improve emotional regulation and environmental responses, increasing awareness of these subconscious influences can be very helpful.

Narrative

By cultivating mindful communication and fostering healthy self-dialogue, you can rewrite the story of who you are becoming. These practices empower you to actively shape your own narrative of personal growth and change.
