Empowering

I believe that taking this first step is instrumental in your process to healing or just simply getting better. Many times, in life we encounter challenges, some of them we manage well, others may require some assistance or just having someone there to help us process the situation. I believe having the right tools are imperative to success. Presently, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including Self-esteem, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges and ADHD. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, narrative, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life, as courage gives you the power to chase after things that are important to you. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My experience with CBT has shown it to be highly effective in helping clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop healthier coping strategies. I often use CBT techniques such as thought reframing, identifying cognitive distortions, and practicing problem-solving skills. In sessions, I guide clients in applying these strategies to real-life situations, which empowers them to manage anxiety, improve communication, and build confidence. Clients typically respond well, reporting increased self-awareness and greater control over their emotional responses.

Strength-Based

In my clinical practice, I incorporate a strength-based treatment method by focusing on clients’ inherent skills, resources, and resilience rather than solely on their problems or deficits. This approach allows me to empower clients by identifying what they are already doing well and helping them use those strengths to address challenges. During sessions, I use motivational interviewing, solution-focused questioning, and positive reinforcement to help clients recognize their own capacity for growth. This method helps improve self-esteem, build confidence, and foster a sense of ownership in the therapeutic process, ultimately supporting long-term change and resilience. grief as my specialty
