I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Phoenix, Arizona. I work primarily with women, across the lifespan, to improve their overall wellbeing, mental health, and relationships. This includes getting clear on what you want for your life outside of the roles you have such as parent, friend, partner, or daughter. I specialize in issues of mental health around pregnancy and parenting including parenting of neurodiverse children.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In my first session I want to make sure to answer any questions and address any doubts or worries. We will start to get to know one another and go over the information you have provided on the intake paperwork. We will develop an initial plan for our first few meetings and decide how you feel most comfortable working together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider is my ability to show up as myself and encourage my clients to do so as well. When we can both be authentic, good and bad, there's more room for exploring different perspectives and considering change.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

My work with clients always looks through the lens of the attachment system and attachment relationships. This helps me and my client understand the source of areas of pain, difficulty, and strength.

Brainspotting

The brain is amazing and knows what it needs to heal. I utilize Brainspotting to support my clients in healing their brain from the bottom up and without the need to talk about their challenges over and over.

Motivational Interviewing

Counseling is about the client's journey. I am there to support and guide client's toward what THEY identify as the priority. Motivational Interviewing allows the client to determine when and if to make change.

Relational

Developing a trusting professional relationship is the key to success in counseling. We heal in relation and connection to others as long as the client feels safe and heard by the clinician.

Trauma Informed Care

It is crucial to understand that most people have experienced trauma. This impacts many factors of emotional health as well as the person's ability to engage in healthy and loving ways with themself and others.
