Hello, my name is Devon. Do you feel stuck and frustrated? I have over thirty-four years of experience working with individuals who feel the same way you do. I’ve been able to work together with individuals to reduce their feelings of anxiety, and I’ve been able to increase an individual's self-esteem, self-worth, self-image, and self-concept. I’ve also been effective in improving individual feelings of well-being. I aim to get individuals back to their highest level of functioning. I use cognitive restructured techniques, positive self-talk, relaxation skills training, etc. In short, I help individuals become unstuck, and we work together to get them back to doing the things they once enjoyed, which is living their best life. I have over thirty-four years of experience working with children, adults, and families. Yet, I’ve been successful in helping individuals reduce feelings of depression, poor anger management, unresolved family conflict, and substance abuse misuse, and I’ve been able to empower individuals with relationship issues to speak their truth.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Individuals can expect together to engage in a brief introduction and a brief rapport building to understand what brought you into care. This will allow me to establish a treatment plan that will address each concern in the order of concerned for the individual. Individuals will be provided time to time with assignments to address identified problems during follow-up sessions.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My most significant strengths are listening to what you say, being non-judgmental, having empathy, helping individuals change any altered thinking, helping individuals focus on the solution and not so much the problem, and assisting individuals in returning to a healthy and happy lifestyle of well-being.
