Hello, my name is Gloria Gonzales, I am a bilingual/bicultural licensed psychotherapist, with three adult grown children. My experience is working with individuals, families, co-parents, adolescents, and couples since 2011. I have also had the opportunity to work as an adjunct professor teaching Clinical Psychology, to Master Level students. My hope is to help you heal and live an abundant life filled with happiness. I don't believe there is anyone who has had a perfect life, however our trials and mishaps can also give us wisdom as we go through life. Everyday is an opportunity to learn, heal & change!
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Our first initial session we both will have the opportunity to meet and answer any questions. In addition, I will be going through the forms sent to you & discussing informed consent, confidentiality, and discussing the treatment process. You will have the opportunity to explore the challenges you would like to focus on, along with a treatment plan. I am happy to schedule an office or Teletherapy session.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My greatest strengths as a licensed psychotherapist are being able to connect with my client's, building a trusting therapeutic relationship, a reflective listener, and validating their experiences. I am also empathetic & compassionate which allows me to connect with clients by helping them to solve their own challenges.
