Hello, I'm Anllely/ "Angely"! I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical social worker residing in Southern CA. As a dedicated therapist with over 7 years of experience in the field, I specialize in providing talk therapy to help individuals navigate their personal journeys towards healing and self discovery. My therapeutic approach is grounded on the belief that healing the inner child is essential for increasing self-awareness and fostering meaningful behavioral changes. By addressing past wounds and nurturing the inner child, I guide my clients toward a deeper understanding of themselves and empower them to make positive modifications in their lives. Additionally, I have experience working with women who have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) to gain deeper understanding of its impact on their mental health.
Embarking on a therapeutic journey can be both exciting and a bit daunting. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My biggest strength as a therapist is my unwavering commitment to create a safe and empathetic space for my clients. This allows them to explore their inner selves and address their deepest concerns without fear of judgment.
I acknowledge that addressing our mental health can be difficult; therefore, a dream client is someone who is open for self exploration, recognizes that change is needed, open to feedback, values therapeutic relationships and is willing to practice self-compassion when faced with life challenges. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues or simply seeking greater sense of self-awareness my goal is create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we will work to uncover and heal the root causes of your challenges, enabling you to live a fulfilling and authentic life.

I used narrative therapy in many of my sessions as helps us foster a therapuetic bond. Narrative therapy allows clients to separate themselves from their problems, viewing the issue as something that exists outside of them. It also encourages clients to rewrite their personal narratives in a way that highlights their strengths and positive aspects. All while breaking down dominant narratives to understand their influence and finding alternative perspectives.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy allows client to learn to reframe their perceptions of past events, reducing the emotional intensity and negative impact of these memories. This dual focus on cognitive and emotional healing fosters a greater sense of self-awareness and empowers clients to make positive behavioral changes.
