I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience helping people work through anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficult life transitions. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when you’re struggling, and I provide a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly without judgment. My style is warm, practical, and collaborative. Together, we’ll work to better understand what you're experiencing and develop tools to help you feel more balanced, confident, and in control. My goal is to help you move forward in a way that feels meaningful and manageable.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, what you’ve been experiencing emotionally, and any important background that may be relevant. We’ll also talk about what you would like to change or improve in your life. I’ll explain how therapy works, answer any questions you may have, and work with you to begin identifying goals. There is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable sharing—we move at your pace.By the end of the first session, most clients feel a sense of relief from talking openly and have a clearer understanding of how therapy can help and what our work together will look like moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and honest. Clients often tell me they feel understood and at ease, which allows meaningful progress to happen. With over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring both compassion and practical insight to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand their thoughts, develop healthier coping strategies, and create lasting change. I tailor my approach to each individual, meeting you where you are and working at a pace that feels right for you. When appropriate, I also incorporate humor to help clients feel more comfortable and to support a genuine, human connection throughout the therapeutic process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are navigating anxiety, trauma, or stress related to relationships, family dynamics, or unexpected life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed on the inside while trying to hold everything together on the outside. They are motivated for change but unsure where to start. In our early sessions, we focus on understanding what’s contributing to the stress and creating a clear, manageable plan to move forward. Over time, clients often notice their anxiety decreasing, their confidence growing, and a greater sense of control returning to their daily lives.
