Hello! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Florida Atlantic University and have been practicing for 6 years as a Mental Health and Vocational Counselor. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy. My goal is to help clients overcome challenges by identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns, while also focusing on their strengths and goals to foster positive change. Together, we work collaboratively to develop practical strategies that empower clients to lead more fulfilling lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where they will have the opportunity to discuss their reasons for seeking therapy and what they hope to achieve. We'll also go over confidentiality and the therapeutic process. I'll ask questions to gain a better understanding of their background, current challenges, and goals. Together, we'll start to develop a treatment plan tailored to their needs. Clients may also learn about specific therapeutic techniques we may use and have the chance to ask any questions they may have about the therapy process. Overall, the first session is about building rapport, setting goals, and laying the foundation for our therapeutic work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a mental health provider, I believe my greatest strengths lie in my empathy, adaptability, and commitment to client-centered care. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions. My ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet each client's unique needs allows for a personalized approach to treatment.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I find CBT and solution-focused therapy highly effective. In practice, I blend CBT's structured approach to challenge negative thoughts with solution-focused techniques to explore strengths and set goals, tailored to each client's needs.
