New to Grow
I’m Alexa, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist in the Tampa Bay area who provides virtual sessions to clients across Florida. I specialize in helping adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stuck regain clarity, calm, and confidence. I offer evening and weekend sessions so therapy fits your life, not the other way around. Whether you’re grieving, burned out, or just trying to keep it together, I’m here to help you feel grounded and seen.
Our first session is a soft landing. You’ll share what’s been going on, what’s felt heavy, and what you hope will change. I’ll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and help you start building a roadmap for your growth. You’ll leave feeling heard, supported, and clearer about where we’re headed.
My clients say I help them feel deeply understood, without sugarcoating. I combine emotional insight with practical strategies so therapy isn’t just a vent session; it’s meaningful, focused, and effective. With a background in grief therapy and clinical supervision, I bring both empathy and expertise into the virtual room.
I work best with adults navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, identity confusion, or self-worth struggles. Maybe you’re high-functioning on the outside but spiraling internally, or maybe you’re just tired of carrying everything alone. I meet you where you are with warmth, strategy, and honest support, all through the convenience of virtual care.
I regularly use CBT to help clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns that fuel anxiety, depression, and stress. I focus on building coping strategies clients can apply in daily life, whether in school, work, or relationships.
ACT is especially helpful for clients navigating anxiety, grief, or major life transitions. I guide clients in learning to make space for difficult emotions, clarify their personal values, and take meaningful steps toward goals that align with those values.
I incorporate mindfulness strategies such as grounding, breathwork, and present-moment awareness to help clients manage stress, burnout, and emotional reactivity. These tools are accessible, practical, and can be used in real time when challenges arise.
SFBT allows me to highlight strengths and build solutions with clients who may feel stuck. I use this approach to help clients set realistic goals, identify resources, and create forward movement in areas like self-esteem, relationships, and career or school concerns.
I use IPT to explore the connection between mood and relationships. Many of my clients are adjusting to new adult roles, balancing friendships, family expectations, or romantic partnerships. IPT helps them strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and process grief or loss.
